Volunteer Ministers’ Yellow Tent Offers Practical Help in Milan

MILAN — 22 January 2026 — The Scientology Volunteer Ministers have brought their distinctive yellow tent to Milan, creating a public, walk-up space for hands-on assistance and one-to-one guidance, alongside simple “Tools for Life” techniques that can be applied to real-life difficulties. See the full report: Scientology Europe.

Previously deployed in cities including New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Naples, the Yellow Tent is designed to let residents speak with trained volunteers and learn simple steps for handling stress, improving communication and resolving conflicts, as well as practical help during difficult moments.

Volunteer Ministers are local citizens trained through 19 introductory courses covering communication, study and learning methods, interpersonal relations and problem-solving. The approach is focused on the individual: understand what the person faces and provide an actionable technique.

In Italy, Volunteer Ministers have supported communities during major emergencies including L’Aquila (2009) and Emilia-Romagna (2012), and have also assisted during flooding in the Marche region (2022) and Romagna (2023), working with local services and civil-protection partners to help clear homes and public spaces.

In Milan, activity expanded during the pandemic period with sanitisation efforts and support for families in need. Organisers news eureka ca say volunteers then continued with neighbourhood support, including more than 160 consecutive Saturdays of clean-up and assistance, extending across all nine municipal areas of the city, while also contributing to solidarity efforts such as supporting aid shipments to Ukraine.

Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European Union, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, said: “Across Europe, we see that communities become stronger when citizens feel equipped to help one another in practical ways—calmly, respectfully and without prejudice. Their work reflects a civic principle: support starts with listening and providing tools that help people regain the ability to act and contribute.”
